Our church is committed to the growth and welfare of our community. The City of Brockton, like many across this nation, is continuously challenged and assaulted by many destructive forces. Our youth are not being developed to the benefit of their families, themselves or the community at large. Our approach in ameliorating this situation is to use community service as a platform for community development. Nothing is more instrumental to that development than the preservation of our families and civic lives.
An obstacle to community development has always been a lack of available resources. Our community needs dedicated men and women who are committed to help making the neighborhood a safe and productive place for all. The possibilities of community development are only limited by our willingness to learn and work together. Renewing hope for the future and demonstrating the collective strength needed to revitalize the city. Together we can make a real difference in the lives of many. We invite you to preview a few of the programs we will provide, in a greater capacity, as our physical church body grows.

More than 45 families will benefit from this service. Our unique curriculum for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, centered around developmentally appropriate and fun activities will inspire children to develop physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially.

This tutorial initiative is for at-risk elementary and middle school students. This program will provide our young people with a safe, positive and stimulating atmosphere to explore learning and experience academic success. Our doors will be open in the late afternoon and early evening hours. Helping kids improve their reading, math, and homework skills. While providing encouragement that builds self-esteem and motivates them to succeed.
Our dedicated staff of volunteers work with young adults offering friendship, encouragement and guidance. Assisting them with difficult decisions they are required to make everyday. Our counseling of youths seeking to make the most of out their lives is achieved through our introduction to Christian alternatives. We have waged war against the prevailing urban culture of destruction of the mind, body and soul, and have become an ally to young people. The enthusiastic feedback from parents and young adults exhibit the impact that our service has had on the community. We also assist young adults in finding jobs or finding funding alternatives for college.
This program specializes in workshops designed to equip participants to compete in a diverse workforce. Removing the obstacle to education and employment, through mentorship, giving presentations on career management, and basic computer skills training, we have successfully helped over 60 people obtain higher paying jobs over the last 5 years.
This part-time program is designed to enrich the lifestyle of our seniors in their golden years. Improving the quality of life for those who are physically frail, socially or cognitively impaired. Giving them a sense of pride and belonging within the community. Daily activities, hot meals and health education programs will be offered in a structured and safe environment.
